Community Church

What can the mountains teach people about the way of life and the teaching of love that Jesus and his first followers called “The Way?” This Sunday, Aug. 25, Community Church will continue its series in the Season of Creation with Mountain Sunday.

In the Scriptures, the mountains, particularly the mountain tops are the place to encounter God. The congregation will look at the mountaintop experiences as recorded in the Bible and that people in the church have experienced.

People are welcome to come to church early for a cup of coffee in the narthex. First-time worshippers are invited to come this Sunday to come to see what the “friendly church” is all about.

Community Church worships every Sunday 9:50 a.m. in the sanctuary located at 14000 Church Place, by St. Andrews Gate. The service is followed by a time of fellowship and light refreshment.
