Long Beach Playhouse

On Aug. 3, Leisure World residents Debbi Fudge, Mary Guymon and Sandy Bush were part of a sold out audience attending the musical comedy “The Addams Family” at the 298-seat Long Beach Playhouse, 5021 E Anaheim St., Long Beach, CA 90804.

Bush said the singing and dancing left her on “an emotional high,” and Guymon called the show “so grand.”

The next show is “The Passion of Dracula” running Sept. 21-Oct. 19. Senior tickets are approximately $25 and can be purchased by calling the box office at 562-494-1014 ,Wednesday-Sunday from 3-8 p.m. Tickets can be picked up at will call on the performance date. The Long Beach Playhouse is 5 miles from Leisure World on all surface streets and has free off-street parking.
