Fax, print and computers available
LW LIBRARY
In addition to offering over 30,000 items for checkout, the LW Library also offers a variety of technological offerings that come with the complimentary assistance of friendly library staff.
The library fax service is available every day of the week that the library is open until 15 minutes before closing at a cost of $1 per page. People should bring the pages they need faxed along with the fax number the pages are being sent to and library staff will take care of all the work.
To receive a fax, provide the library fax number, 562-5967735, to the sender and staff will call when it arrives. Faxes can be received 24 hours a day.
The library computers are available to residents and their guests for up to three hours a day, with daily service ending 30 minutes before closure each day. People who run into problems while surfing the web or who have trouble signing into their email will receive assistance. Staff will do their best to help resolve the issue and get people back to enjoying their web browsing experience. Library computers are also equipped with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Copying and print services are also available at a cost of 10 cents per page for black and white or 15 cents per page for color. The library copy machine can also scan directly to USB which means residents can convert that stack of documents into an easily accessible PDF file; this service is available at no cost, just bring a USB storage device or buy one from the library for $4.
The LW Library is open Monday-Friday from 9:30 a.m.5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. For more information, call the LW Library at 562-598-2431.
