Community Church

This Sunday, Aug. 11, Community Church will continue its series titled “The Season of Creation with Humanity.”

This week, the church will discuss what humanity has to do with creation.

People are welcome to come to church early for a cup of coffee in the narthex. First-time worshippers are invited to come this Sunday to come to see what the “friendly church” is all about.

Community Church worships every Sunday 9:50 a.m. in the sanctuary located at 14000 Church Place, by St. Andrews Gate. The service is followed by a time of fellowship and light refreshment. Services are also available on Facebook or Zoom; people can contact the church office for a Zoom link by calling 562-431-2503.

South Side Jazz will once again perform at Community Church on Sunday, Aug. 11, at 3 p.m. in Edgar Hall at Community Church. See page 16 for more details.
