HUI O HULA

Last week, at Hui O Hula's class practice, Mutual 4 resident Gino Pelegrino (seated with his service dog Poochini Pelegrino) donated a few dozen ribbon lei and kukui nut necklaces. They were handmade by his daughter-in-law Margie Pelegrino. Margie, whose maiden name is O'Connell, was born and raised on the island of Kaua'i. She decided to share the entire collection with the dancers before she moves to Florida. A big mahalo/ thanks to both Pelegrino for their time and generosity.
