Community Karaoke

“I Can’t Say No” sung by Pat Kogak was an upbeat beginning to karaoke night on July 24. The club’s 30-plus regular karaoke singers can’t wait for Wednesday night to take the mic and sing their song choice.

The audience enjoyed Lori Chambelin and Vito Villamor harmonizing a gospel favorite, “Old Rugged Cross.” Helen Schultz followed up with “Why Me Lord.” Joan Rosenberg gave the group a peppy tune, “Do You Want to Know a Secret.” Anna Le gave a strong “Light My Fire.” Sally Glausser loves showtunes like “I Enjoy Being a Girl.” Essie Hicks sang a beautiful Anne Murray hit,“You Needed Me.” The late crowd went home happy after singing several group songs.

The club appreciates Tony Tupas and Dotti Brooks who served pizza and ice cream during the evening.

Everyone is welcome to sing or join the club’s wonderful audience each Wednesday night in Clubhouse 1 beginning at 5:30. Try out a new song at the club’s practice sessions on Mondays from 1-3 p.m. in Clubhouse 6.
