KOREAN AMERICAN ASSOCIATION
On Saturday, Aug. 17, the Korean American Association (KAA) will host a Korean Night Showcase in the Amphitheater at 7:30 p.m. The night will showcase various talents from members of the association.
The event will open with Samulnori, Korean percussion ensemble, followed by the Joy Walking and Stretching Club performance, a clarinet solo, Gloria Auto Harp solo, the Joyful Line Dance Club, the LW Saxophone Club, a Korean traditional dance performance, the LW Women’s Sing-Along Choir, and the 70-member Korean American Choir. There will also be a surprise closing number, where audience members will be encouraged to sing along.
The Korean American Association encourages all LW residents and guests to enjoy this 90-minute event.
The KAA promotes friendship among members, information exchange and cultural activities together. The association was founded for those purposes and is registered as a nonprofit organization. Prior to the KAA, the Korean American Club (KAC) served the Korean American community from 2000-2015 until disbanding.
