Redeemer Lutheran and St. Theodore

On Sunday, July 28, the congregations of Redeemer Lutheran Church and St. Theodore of Canterbury Episcopal Church will celebrate the 10th Sunday after Pentecost with Bishop Murray Finck presiding. The Communion and worship service gathers Sundays at 10:30 a.m. at 13564 St. Andrews Drive.

This Sunday’s message will center on the purposefulness of Jesus’ miracle with the five loaves and two fish feeding 5,000 people. When people discount Jesus’ miracles they are discounting his Godhood. Jesus said he was the son of the father; the father and he were one; thus, Jesus is God. He did true miracles.

Fellowship will follow service in the Fellowship Hall, where coffee, tea and snacks will be provided. All are welcome.

The congregations continue to collect donations of canned and boxed foods for the hungry.

The Bible study group will meet on Wednesday, July 31, to continue the study on the Book of Jonah. Bishop Murray Finck will lead the discussion.
