LW Baptist

LW Baptist’s service on Sunday, July 28, celebrates Christ, the one and only head of the church, which is his corporate body, “elect from every nation yet one over all the Earth, her Charter of Salvation one Lord One Faith one birth.”

The Apostle Paul cites Christ’s own authority to call God’s people to practice the unity that exists because of their all being in Christ. Jesus prayed “that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”

This is why Christians everywhere call Jesus Lord. Paul says that in all things Christ must have first place.
