LW Assembly of God

It is a day of music at Leisure World Assembly of God. The church will host the outstanding women’s choir from Teen Challenge in the Sunday morning service. In 1958, Rev. David Wilkerson began a ministry to the gangs in New York City that quickly spread throughout the U.S. and now worldwide. Teen Challenge reaches individuals well beyond their teen years and is recognized universally as one of the most effective treatment programs for life-controlling addictions. The women will share personal testimonies of deliverance from addiction and the redemptive power of God. Hymn Sing will be held Sunday, July 28, at 6 p.m. in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby. It is open to all residents, friends and family.

The Bible study continues the series “Hebrews,” with video teacher Derwin Gray, ex-NFL player, pastor, author and teacher. Session eight focuses on “Living by Faith.” The oftenused term is explored and explained in this week’s teaching.

LW Assembly of God meets Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Wednesday Bible study is at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Hymn Sing is held on the fourth Sunday at 6 p.m., in Clubhouse 3 Lobby. All residents and friends are welcome.
