The America First Republican Club joins others in thankful prayers that the bullet intended to kill Donald Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania touched only his ear and missed killing him.

The club is looking for volunteers to knock on doors and make phone calls for the upcoming elections, as well as man the club booth. People can stop by the booth or a monthly meeting to sign up.

The club booth, located near Clubhouse 6, will be open every Monday and Wednesday in August with Trump yard signs, American flags, Israeli flags and other political paraphernalia. The flags are sold for $10 each. Most other items are free, although donations are gladly accepted. Merchandise will only be sold on Mondays.

Monthly meetings are held in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, on the third Wednesday of the month at 5 p.m. for socializing and 5:30 for the meeting.

The Aug. 21 meeting will feature congressional candidate Scott Baugh and county supervisor candidate Janet Nguyen.
