Veterans and guests enjoy Veterans picnic

FILIPINO ASSOCIATION OF LEISURE WORLD

The Filipino Association of Leisure World (FALW) thanks all veterans, active duty military, soldiers, family, guests and friends for attending the FALW’s veterans picnic on July 6.

It was a wonderful picnic thanks to all involved.

The FALW thanks the Golden Age Foundation for its generous donation. The FALW also thanks the club members, officers and family volunteers who worked to make the picnic successful.

The association also thanks the Hui O Hula Club, Aloha Ukulele Club, and the Dancing Feet Club for entertaining all present at the picnic.

“Let us hold the true spirits of the fellow American and serve our nation to the fullest,” said club member Anastacia Wayman about the event and the Fourth of July holiday.

Veterans' family, friends and neighbors gathered around tables to enjoy food from the veterans picnic thrown by the Filipino Association of Leisure World.

People were able to socialize and play games together during the picnic.
