MEDCARE MEDICAL PHARMACY

Leisure World residents can now enjoy prescription pickups, hot food and light grocery shopping just a few steps from their front doors, thanks to the presence of MedCare Medical Pharmacy, which held its grand opening on July 9.

The event featured a ribboncutting ceremony, free food and beverages, raffles and more as people celebrated the addition of this convenience to the Leisure World community.

The pharmacy opened its doors in March and has been slowly enhancing its offerings in preparation for its official grand opening. This past month, the pharmacy secured the licensing necessary to begin offering in- person prescription pick-ups. Medication deliveries are also available.

The newly renovated space features a sitting area for eating, a hot bar with a rotating menu (see page 24), fresh produce, snacks and a selection of household essentials like cleaning supplies and personal care products.

The MedCare Medical Pharmacy is open weekdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and closed on Sundays. To transfer prescriptions to MedCare Medical Pharmacy, call 714-5572982. See more photos on page 18.
