Traveling Tigers Club
The Traveling Tigers will meet Wednesday, July 17, at noon in Clubhouse 3, Room 9. The meeting will begin with a potluck. Members and guests who would like to participate should bring a coffee cup and a dish to share. There will be a short business meeting at 1 followed by a presentation at 1:15 by guest speaker Leila Claudio.
Claudio will speak about her two week trip to Southern Africa. She will cover interesting facts such as why ostriches seem to bury their heads in the sand, which animal is called the McDonald’s of Africa, the name of the third biggest canyon in the world, and whether it’s true that elephants go to an elephant graveyard to die. All are welcome.
