Meals on Wheels Orange County
Meals on Wheels Orange County in partnership with the city of Seal Beach is hosting The Lunch Cafe at the North Seal Beach Center, 3333 St. Cloud Dr., Seal Beach, Monday-Friday, from 11 a.m.-noon. It is open to anyone 60 or older. Suggested contribution is $3. Guests under 60 can enjoy lunch for $5. Meals are served on a first-come, first-served basis and come with 1% milk.
LW Minibus service is available for a pick up at 10:25 a.m. at the Amphitheater bus stop on St. Andrews Drive. It returns to the Amphitheater at 11:40 a.m.
Thursday, July 11
Diced chicken with sweet and sour sauce, egg noodles, oriental vegetable blend, whole wheat dinner roll with Smart Balance and sugar-free fruited gelatin.
Friday, July 12
Cubed beef with ranchera sauce, Mexican rice, pinto beans, whole grain tortilla, pico de gallo and canned apricot.
Monday, July 15
Braised cubed beef with burgundy sauce, sweet potatoes, green beans, whole wheat dinner roll with Smart Balance and mandarin orange.
Tuesday, July 16
Egg drop soup with sugar-free crackers, Vietnamese chicken salad, whole wheat dinner roll with Smart Balance and sliced peaches.
Wednesday, July 17
Chicken torta sandwich (shredded, chicken, pinto beans, shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes), mayonnaise, telera roll and tropical fruit mix.
