The Wilbury Super Group

Hits from Tom Petty, George Harrison, Roy Orbison and more Tribute to The Traveling Wilburys July 4 | 7 p.m. Amphitheater Stage

The Wilbury Super Group is a tribute to The Traveling Wilburys, a British-American supergroup active from 19881991 consisting of Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty. They were a roots rock band and described as “perhaps the biggest supergroup of all time,” according to Wikipedia. “Handle with Care” was the group’s biggest hit.

This show will go beyond the music of The Traveling Wilburys, featuring the greatest hits from each of its individual members, all of whom were legends in their own right.

The band features Jimmy Pou as George Harrison; Dan Grennes as Tom Petty; Mark Barnett as Roy Orbison; Jon Pearlstone as Bob Dylan; Jason Feddy as Jeff Lynne; Les Warner as Jim Keltner; and Brenda Fitz on keyboards.

Jimmy Pou is the leading George Harrison tribute artist in the region with Beatles tribute bands and Harrison solo tributes. He has performed nationally at Carnegie Hall and Red Rocks Amphitheater, among other venues.

Dan Grennes successfully performs authentic Tom Petty tributes throughout California and Nevada and played such prestigious events like the Sturgis Music Festival.

Mark Barnett is widely recognized for his Roy Orbison tributes in both in look and sound. He is regularly asked to perform “Roy” in venues large and small across the United States.

Jon Pearlstone has received rave reviews for his shows assuming the role of the legendary Bob Dylan, mastering the complexity of Dylan’s lyrics and storytelling at venues around Southern California.

Jason Feddy has opened for, or collaborated with, such noted musical artists as Joe Cocker, David Gray, Ben Folds Five, Patsy Matheson, The Cranberries, Tears for Fears, Ralph Covert, Christie Moore, Paul Young, John Martyn, to name a few.

In addition to his role playing for a legendary rock band, The Cult, Les Warner is a highly sought after studio drummer and a perfect Les Keltner for the Wilbury Super Group.
