The disciples went prepared with Jesus’s teachings and authority. They had complete faith and trust in Jesus and the message that the disciples were sharing. Many people don’t walk out the front door with keys, wallet, water bottle, cell phone, credit card or money. The idea of walking out on family, friends, jobs and other commitments to go somewhere, with no plan other than to share the Gospel of Jesus is hard to comprehend. The congregations are grateful for the disciples of the past and the current ones who share the Gospel of Jesus.

Fellowship will follow service in the Fellowship Hall, where coffee, tea and snacks will be provided. All are welcome. The congregations continue to collect donations of canned and boxed foods for the hungry.

The Bible study will meet on Wednesday, July 10, to continue the study of Jesus’ miracles. This week, the group will study chapter nine of the workbook, titled “The Leper; Hope for the Hopeless” from is Luke 5:12-14 (see also: Mark 1:40-45 and Matthew 8:1-4). Bishop Finck will lead the discussion. This is the second to last week of the study. The group will decide what to study next. All are welcome.
