Community Karaoke

There were many things to celebrate at the June 26 karaoke night. Wayne Urban celebrated his birthday by singing his favorite country-western, “Oh Lonesome Me.” But nobody was lonesome because the audience was entertained by 53 different singers.

People were pleased to hear Pat Kogok singing again. Geoff Davies sang “Coward of the County.” Ren Villanueva chose his favorite, “Tennessee Whiskey.” It was a fast-paced evening and a very social one, with friends gathering together to share music.

Patriotic favorites will be the theme of July 3 karaoke night. Practice sessions are held Mondays in Clubhouse 6 from 1-3 p.m. Karaoke parties are held in Clubhouse 1 each Wednesday from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
