Community Gardens offi cially open; plot invitations being mailed

Residents and GRF leaders gathered for a ribbon cutting ceremony on June 26 to celebrate the opening of the longawaited Community Gardens.

Residents who were granted a garden lot should start receiving letters in the mail this week to instruct them on how to proceed. The waiting list is live online at www.lwsb.com, where new applicants can add their names for an opportunity to be assigned a lot. For more information, contact kathyt@lwsb.com.
