MedCare Pharmacy will hold grand opening event July 9

MedCare Medical Pharmacy is fully open and operational. The pharmacy will hold a grand opening on Tuesday, July 9. The event will feature a wide variety of free food and beverages, a raffle with prizes including $10, $20 and $50 gift cards, bags and totes, vitamins and other freebies.

Situated within Leisure World’s walls, MedCare Medical Pharmacy offers fast medication fills with free same-day delivery. Beyond traditional pharmacy services, the newly renovated interior includes a mini-mart with groceries and produce, as well as a hot food bar with a changing menu.

The Pharmacy and mini-mart are open weekdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. On Saturdays, the pharmacy is open for prescription pick up only. The pharmacy is located near the Administration Building, adjacent to the Optum Health Care Center.

The staff at MedCare Medical Pharmacy are ready to assist with any pharmaceutical needs and to answer any questions residents may have about their medications.

The pharmacy recently set up a seating area near its frozen section and hot bar.
