In an effort to speed traffic through the Main Gate, both entrance lanes will be open to visitors and residents as of Monday, July 1.

With the installation of an additional RFID reader in the right lane and a mobile pass scanner to process guests through the left lane, both lanes will soon simultaneously accommodate visitors and residents. The move was approved by the GRF Board in its March meeting.

Once activated, drivers who want to turn right onto Del Monte should enter the right lane; drivers who want to turn left onto Del Monte should enter the left lane. Drivers can go straight in either lane. This will reduce cross traffic, with the goal of increasing safety and efficiency.

Gate officers in the left lane will be equipped with mobile equipment to scan and print visitor passes. Residents are asked to inform visitors that they can enter in either lane at the Main Gate as of July 1. Guests can also enter at the North and St. Andrews gates.

The new gate confi guration will allow residents to enter through both lanes at the Main Gate.
