LW Women’s Golf Club

The LW Women’s Golf Club plays a nine-hole tournament every Tuesday morning. First tee time is 7:30. Play is usually completed by 10. All Leisure World women are invited to join the club by stopping by the starter shack to obtain information. Annual dues are $25. Beginners and tour pros are all welcome.

Thirty-nine women competed in the weekly tournament on June 18. Play for the day was low gross, low net and fewest putts.

A flight winners: Hae Lee, 27, low gross; Janice Turner and Lisa Kim, 24, low net; Lisa Kim and Jessica Choi, 11, fewest putts.

B flight winners: Eullia Kim, 29, low gross; Joanne Lim, 24, low net; Ann Tran, 12, fewest putts.

C flight winners: Patty Littrell, 33, low gross; Kay Hong, 22, low net; Helen Yoon, 9, fewest putts.

D flight winners: Sue Elliot, 34, low gross; Neva Senske, 23, low net; Sue Elliot, Neva Senske, Dale Quinn and Emiko Uchiyama, 15, fewest putts.
