Walk Like A Man pays homage to Frankie Valli, who came to fame in 1962 as the lead singer of the Four Seasons. The volcanic success of the Tony-winning musical “Jersey Boys,” which chronicles the life and times of Frankie and his legendary group, propelled the classic music back into the spotlight.
Walk Like a Man is a dynamic tribute show that captures the concert experience. Only the biggest hits and the best songs are performed, including “Walk Like a Man,” “Sherry,” “Take Good Care of My Baby,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You” and “My Cherie Amour,” among others.
There’s something about Frankie’s music that makes young people of every generation want to get up and dance. Amid the disco era, the Seasons hit it big with “Who Loves You,” which reached No 3 in 1975, and “December 1963 (Oh, What a Night), a No. 1 record in 1976.
From 1962 to 1978, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons sold more than 100 million records, even before the invention of the compact disc prompted Seasons collectors to buy the hits all over again. In 1990 Frankie and Seasons members were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, only five years after the Hall opened for business.
This tribute show features performers in colorful costumes, stylish choreography and beautifully arranged vocal harmonies.
The four professional singers are an amazing group of world class talent. They have collectively worked in the record industry, performed internationally, acted in Broadway shows, and have been featured on television and in movies.
Whether attendees are old enough to remember Frankie Valli and his music or young enough to be hearing it for the first time, this show is a must-see.
