PARKING ENFORCEMENT

Visitors must display their visitor pass on the dashboard of their vehicles at all times while parked on Trust streets. Failure to display a visitor pass will result in a $25 ticket mailed to the resident who provided the pass.

Fines can be avoided by reminding visitors to clearly display their visitor pass on the dashboard of their vehicle, preferably on the driver’s side to allow parking enforcement to quickly identify vehicles in violation.

Member Services Rule 481937-2 “Parking – Fines”, states: All MEMBER/OWNERs (M/O) are solely responsible for all the actions of any VISITOR, RENTER/LESSEE (R/L), CAREGIVER OR CONTRACTOR who has entered Leisure World Seal Beach (LWSB) under their authorization, as well as any persons who have entered LWSB through their R/L’s AUTHORIZATION. Therefore, the M/O is responsible for any fines and penalties associated with their unit that are imposed by GRF.

Some visitors routinely place their paper visitor pass behind the vehicle visor or in the center console. Security officers have recently been reminding visitors to place those passes on their dash.

Residents are urged to pass along this information to their visitors in order to avoid a ticket in the mail.

Security is able to connect residents to visitor passes through Proptia, which stores vehicle license plate numbers. When issuing a ticket to a visitor, Security personnel need only to type in the license plate number and fill in the corresponding resident’s name on the ticket.

Visitors should clearly display their visitor passes on the driver's side dashboard. Failure to do so could result in a $25 fine to the resident who invited them in.
