Community Karaoke
During fast-paced karaoke evenings, people enjoy a variety of music: beautiful ballads, country, gospel and pop-hits. The club’s performers are just as varied.
Karen Morris did a fine “Operator.” Mariza Joaquin pleased the audience with the great beat of “Flowers.” Lori Chamberlain held the audience’s attention with “Dream a Little Dream of Me.” Martin Rozendaal sang the strong Tom Jones hit “Delilah.” Husband and wife duo Walt and Sue Piippo are always on the beat and chose tunes like “Let Your Love Flow.” The dramatic “Music of the Night” was well sung by Bob Barnum. Frank Miller had fun with “Unchain My Heart.” Vinny Correnti gave a new song a try and did it well.
To prepare for the July 4 holiday, people are invited to check out patriotic songs available in the club’s song book. People can practice a new tune on Mondays in Clubhouse 6 from 1-3 p.m. Everyone is welcome to join the happy gathering in Clubhouse 1 each Wednesday evening beginning at 5:30.
