Bocce Club crowns spring champs

The Leisure World Bocce Club celebrated its spring finals on June 10. The celebration was the club’s largest ever and included a deli lunch and tons of desserts. The party began with playoff games between the winners of each league. The winners then played each other for the championship. The 2024 spring champions are Connie Adkins and Paul Shellenberger. The club congratulates all the finalists who competed, including Harshad and Chandra Patel, Estee Edwards and Marsha Stamper, and Marilyn Hewitt and Marv Jones.

The fall season will start on Sept. 10. Sign-ups were held during the party and almost everyone is holding their spot for the coming season. The new schedules will be emailed to players in late August.

The courts are open daily for anyone to play or practice skills. Players should sign the visitors sheet located in the front of the court whenever they play. Contact Rhonda Cox at 714-904-6458 with any questions or concerns.
