Meals on Wheels Orange County
Meals on Wheels Orange County in partnership with the city of Seal Beach is hosting The Lunch Cafe at the North Seal Beach Center, 3333 St. Cloud Dr., Seal Beach, Monday-Friday, from 11 a.m.-noon.
It is open to anyone 60 or older. Suggested contribution is $3. Guests under 60 can enjoy lunch for $5. Arrive 10 minutes before the start time as meals are served on a first-come, first-served basis. All meals come with 1% milk.
LW Minibus service is available for a pick up at 10:25 a.m. at the Amphitheater bus stop on St. Andrews Drive. It returns to the Amphitheater at 11:40 a.m.
Thursday, June 13
Baked tilapia with ranchero sauce, Mexican rice, broccoli, tortilla, sugar-free pudding and orange juice.
Friday, June 14
Roast beef with brown gravy, baked potato, sour cream, chef’s cut vegetable blend, Parker House roll with Smart Balance, chocolate pudding cake and fresh fruit (diet).
Monday, June 17
Pork chile verde with verde sauce, pinto beans, peas and carrots, tortilla and tropical fruit mix.
Tuesday, June 18
Zuni corn soup with sugar-free crackers, poppy seed chicken pasta, harvest salad (spring mix, cranberries, almonds and balsamic dressing), whole wheat crackers and sugar-free fruited gelatin.
Wednesday, June 19
Spinach and mushroom quiche, roasted potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower, whole wheat dinner roll and canned pears.
