Karaoke parties held Wednesdays

O n June 5, the Community Karaoke Club sang songs of remembrance. “Adios Amigo” was sung by Vito Villamor. Others included “That’s Amore” by Ran Geierman, “I Just Can’t Help Believing” by Elizabeth Butterfield, “Ring of Fire” by James Farr and “You’ve Got a Friend” by Ren Villaneauva and Richard Yokomi.

Craig Goll gave the audience a soaring “Night And Day.” Joan Rosenberg delivered a delightful “Walk Away Renee.” “Sugar Town” was a charming tune by Dotti Brooks. Anna Le chose an emotional French song, “La Vie En Rose”.

The club appreciates its helpers who serve snacks to everyone. Every Wednesday evening in Clubhouse 1, the club holds a karaoke party.

People can expect to hear a variety of tunes sung by 35-40 friends and neighbors. It’s a social evening with an enthusiastic audience encouraging the performers.

A smaller number rehearse a song or two on Monday afternoons in Clubhouse 6 from 1-3 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
