Assembly of God

All men present will be honored this coming Sunday, June 16, Father’s Day, at Assembly of God’s service. As seniors, the responsibilities unique to parenting young children have passed. If things went well, fathers in this stage of life are enjoying the benefits of having raised well-adjusted, productive, loving children, who are now repeating the pattern and successfully raising families of their own. If things didn’t go well, there is still hope for healing and redemption of relationships in the forgiveness and grace of God. Pastor Chuck Franco will preach “The Standard You Set,” from Matthew 7:2.

The Wednesday Bible study will look at session two of “The Book of Hebrews,” by Derwin Gray. This letter was written to people who were surrounded by rampant sin, a society in chaos and beginning to doubt Jesus was who he said he was. The study is held from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesdays.

LW Assembly of God meets Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Hymn Sing is held on the fourth Sunday of the month at 6 p.m., in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby.
