The American Legion Auxiliary gave three nursing students at Golden West College Nursing School $1,000 scholarships for the 2024-2025 school year at a recognition reception at Golden West College on May 21. The women, each in dif - ferent years in the program, are Christie MacIntire (l-r), Amy Lao and Natalia Kubin. The scholarships were presented by Auxiliary members Denese Anderson (second from left) and Juanita Townsend (second from right).
