Redeemer Lutheran and St. Theodore

Holly Lynn Amireh, great-grandaughter of LWer Juanita Townsend, was baptized at Redeemer Lutheran Church on May 19.

The congregations of Redeemer and St. Theodore of Canterbury Episcopal Church will celebrate the third Sunday after Pentecost with Rev. Steve Beckham presiding on Sunday, June 9, at 10:30 a.m. The Communion and worship service gathers at 13564 St. Andrews Drive and will focus on Mark 3:20-35. Kay Pushman will be the reader and Carmen Leslie will be the communion assistant. All are welcome.

As always, the congregations continue to collect donations of canned and boxed foods for the hungry. The coffee fellowship is held after service in the Fellowship Hall with coffee, tea and cookies. There will be no Bible Study on Wednesday, June 12, and the church office will also be closed.
