Hazardous Waste and E-waste Disposal

Leftover household products such as paints, cleaners, oils and batteries are considered household hazardous waste, and require special disposal. The disposal of household hazardous waste at the 1.8-Acre site is prohibited.

Residents can dispose of their toxic waste at the Huntington Beach Collection Center, 17121 Nichols Lane, 92647, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Proof of county residence may be requested. E-waste such as TVs, tablets, cell phones and computers can also be taken to this collection center.
