Beit HaLev
Beit HaLev services are held on Fridays at 5 p.m. To join Beit HaLev’s Zoomagogue interactive service go to: https://shorturl. at/hsJTZ, Facebook: www.facebook.com/galityomtov, or YouTube: www.youtube.com/@beithalevlive8816/streams.
Rabbi-Cantor Galit-Shirah will read from “B’midbar” (In the wilderness) from Numbers 2:1-3:13; the Maftir is Numbers 4:1720. The Israelites, in preparation for leaving Mt. Sinai after two years, are preparing to enter Canaan. The Israelite women figure prominently in the Book of Numbers, with a description of the “Sotah,” the suspected adulteress, Miriam’s challenge to Moses, and the five daughters who challenge the right of inheritance.
All Beit HaLev services share prayerbooks onscreen, “Lev L’Lev,” which include excerpts from the Reform Siddur, “Mishkan HaT’filah.”
