American Latino Club

The American Latino Club will meet on Thursday, June 13, at 11:30 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2.

There will be a Peruvian lunch consisting of three main entree choices: Beef (lomo saltado—a stir fry of beef, red onions, tomatoes, green onion, cilantro and french fries), chicken (rotisserie chicken and green salad) or vegetarian (spaghetti stir fry with mixed vegetables, red onions, tomatoes, red bell pepper, green onion and cilantro). All entrees come with cilantro chicken soup, white rice, dessert and a mild hot sauce served separately. Beverages include coffee, tea and a fruit drink.

The cost for the lunch is $15 and $17 for guests. The club cannot guarantee a person’s meal unless there is an RSVP placed by Monday, June 10, at 3 p.m. Payments must be sent to Treasurer Myriam Klotz by U.S. mail or by dropping it in her mailbox at 13940 Thunderbird Drive, 6-G. Checks must be made payable to the American Latino Club. Members and guests can bring their own lunch and pay $5 to receive beverages and dessert but must let Klotz know at 714-746-9626.

A guest speaker will discuss “The Six Pillars of Brain Health.” The country of the month will be Peru, and there will be the usual 50/50 raffle. All are welcome.
