June 4 luncheon tickets on sale

LW WOMEN'S GOLF CLUB

The LW Women’s Golf Club plays a nine-hole tournament every Tuesday morning. First tee time is 7:30. Play is usually completed by 10. All Leisure World women are invited to join the club by stopping by the starter shack to obtain information. Annual dues are $25. Beginners and tour pros are all welcome.

Tickets are now on sale at the Tuesday tournaments for the June 4 luncheon. The cost is $15.

Thirty-eight women participated in the May 21 golf tournament. Play for the day was low gross, low net and fewest putts.

A flight winners: Sophia Kim, 27, low gross; Lisa Kim, 23, low net; Lisa Kim, Veronica Chang and Sang An, 11, fewest putts.

B flight winners: Nancy Tye and Zoe Picreil, 31, low gross; Margie Thompson, 25, low net; Nancy Tye, Zoe Picreil and Margie Thompson, 15, fewest putts.

C flight winners: Cecilia Han, 33, low gross; Liz Meripol, 24, low net; Cecilia Han, 11, fewest putts.

D flight winners: Lynn Baidack, 33, low gross; Sue Elliot, 24, low net; Sue Elliot and Dale Quinn, 13, fewest putts.
