Hazardous waste and e-waste disposal

Leftover household products such as paints, cleaners, oils and batteries are considered hazardous and require special disposal. The disposal of household hazardous waste at the 1.8-Acre site is prohibited.

Residents can dispose of their toxic waste at Huntington Beach Collection Center, 17121 Nichols Lane, 92647, Gate 6, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday (closed on major holidays and during rainy weather).

E-waste such as TVs, tablets, cell phones and computers can also be taken to this collection center.
