Community Church

Join Community Church in welcoming its visiting pastor, Rev. Lynn Francis, for the first two Sundays in June.

This Sunday, June 2, Francis will deliver a message titled “The Purpose of the Sabbath.” The congregation will explore the Gospel of Mark and the origins of the day of rest.

Francis has been an ordained minister of the United Methodist Church for 28 years. Serving churches throughout Orange County, her passion is helping church leaders and their congregations to thrive. Francis is also a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation, and just last year answered God’s call to serve with Hoag Hospice. She will be with Community Church on June 2 and June 9 while Pastor Johan Dodge is on leave.

Community Church seeks to transcend the world’s divisiveness and aspire to Jesus’ teachings, that believers might bring kindness, compassion, and a taste of Heaven into the lives of those they meet each day.

People are welcome to see what the “friendly church” is all about. The church is located at 14000 Church Place. Sunday worship is at 9:50 a.m., followed by fellowship and light refresh-ment. Come early for a cup of coffee in the narthex. Services are also available on Facebook or Zoom; contact the church office for a Zoom link.
