Assembly of God

The ability to adapt to uncertain circumstances can make the difference between failure and success. The ability to do so with joy is a gift from God to those who trust that he is with them in every situation. In comfort or pain, lack or abundance, weeping or laughter, a Christian’s joy is not determined by outward influences, but the indwelling confidence that God is working for their good, even when it is not obvious. Pastor Dan Wilderman will share a message titled “Joy and Whatevers,” on Sunday, June 2, a message springing from several scriptures that emphasize the confidence that comes from walking with God through everything.

The Bible study will take a one-week hiatus for a presummer break and return on June 12 for the beginning of a study in Hebrews.

Leisure World Assembly of God meets Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Wednesday Bible study is at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Hymn Sing takes place on the fourth Sunday evening of the month at 6 in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby.
