Alice

Ma had a twin, and cherished her kin; Poor but plain happy, greed was a sin; Rich just a dream, and job was a win; Her family were farmers, Good hardworking charmers: The salt of the earth, with hearts that were larger; She lived through some hard times, Their farm it was lost: Her great generation, paid the stock market’s cost: When you’re younger, your mother, is like no other; I still believe, There was no one above her.
