LW Baptist will celebrate Palm Sunday on March 24, studying the words of John 12:13,“Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the king of Israel.” Worship begins at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 4, anticipating the Lord’s coming again and the events preceding his return.

John’s history shows how in AD 30 the Passover pilgrims in Jerusalem were hoping to see Jesus, but feared enemies might prevent his coming. That Saturday, Jesus was having dinner with friends Mary, Martha and Lazarus, whom Jesus had raised from the dead 40 days before. Spectators gathered to see Jesus and Lazarus.
