The Bible speaks much of people being made in God’s image and likeness. Even more, it focuses on God becoming man in Jesus Christ. The Bible also calls upon believers in Christ to walk or live as Jesus walked here. He is the potter; his people, the clay.

Christians sing, “To be like Jesus, my desire, to be like Him/All through life’s journey from earth to glory/So meek and lowly so humble and holy, how I long to be like Him,” and “More like the Master I would ever be.”

Godly living is Christlike living; true holiness. Christ’s love in the lives of his people makes the difference. And Christ’s power and grace, enables them to live godly in an ungodly world.
