Holiday luncheon to be Dec. 5

Tickets are available for the Women’s Golf Holiday Luncheon, to be held Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 12:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 1. Ask any board member for a ticket, which is $10.

The women’s tournament on the first Tuesday of each month features a circle hole challenge in addition to low gross and low net. The gardeners place a chalk circle approximately 6 feet around the hole and if players make their first shot into the circle, they win a prize. This month’s circle was around hole No. 8.

There were 44 players competing this past week. A flight winners: Low gross: Devora Kim, 28, with her first shot into the circle on No. 8; low net: Janice Turner, 26.

B flight winners: Low gross: Jane Song, 29; low net: Clara Suh and Nina DeRosa, 24. Judy Kim made her first shot into the circle on No. 8.

C flight winners: Low gross: Kay Hong, 32; low net: Patty Littrell, Helen Yoon, Dale Quinn and Mary Devlin, 26.

D flight winners: Low gross: Neva Senske, 33; low net: Emiko Uchiyama, 25.
