This is the month to celebrate Dad. And rightfully so, but are they celebrated enough? Billy Graham said “a good father is one of the most unsung, un-praised, unnoticed, and yet one of the most valuable assets in our society.”
Proverbs 20:7 says “The righteous man walks in his integrity. His children are blessed after him.”
A father’s holy life is a rich legacy for his children. Faith Christian Assembly thanks all the fathers who are unsung heroes.
People are invited to join Faith Christian Assembly this Father’s Day on Sunday, June 18, as the church welcomes a wonderful father to the pulpit, Pastor Gwyn Vaughn, Pastor Sheri Leming’s father, and former lead pastor of the church. During the service there will a special tribute to fathers and Pastor Vaughn will share a wonderful Father’s Day message. There will also be a gift for all men in attendance.
There will not be an evening service on Father’s Day. Sunday service times are at 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Those who are interested in growing through community are welcome to join the men’s or women’s ministries. The groups meet the third Thursday of each month at 1 p.m.
