Milly’s Boys won all three nine ball doubles matches.

U3 had the big win of the night beating Triple Threat 9-4. Sal LaScala scored six points for U3 and teammates Gary Snow and Denise Scott won five.

The Favorites beat Bank It 8-5 and moved to within three points of league leading Ruffians. Dave Silva won six games for the Favorites and Connie Adkins won five, including both her singles matches. Dave Mackinder made the shot of the night to win the last eight ball game for the Favorites. The eighth ball was hanging in the corner pocket, and blocked by an opponent’s ball. Mackinder blanked the cue ball across the table and kicked in the eight without scratching or hitting the other ball. If he had not hit the eight ball his team could have lost because of three consecutive scratches. A loss due to three consecutive scratches is rare but it happens.
