Bocce Ball

The Spring Bocce Ball Tournament is well underway with sunny weather and a great start. Last week, teams competed in the first week of play and will continue over the next six weeks until the first week of June, weather permitting. The finals for this spring tournament will take place soon after that.

The club is currently recruiting volunteers to help with the upcoming pizza party in mid-June.

Each league now has coordinators to facilitate a smooth day for all to enjoy. If for any reason people must forfeit their game, they need to contact one of their coordinators in advance. Their names and numbers are printed on the schedule, and a substitute list is posted at the bocce court for everyone’s convenience.

The court is open all day for anyone to practice on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. League play takes place on Tuesday and Saturday mornings and on Thursday and Sunday afternoons. Everyone is welcome to come and watch the tournaments and cheer on their favorite teams.
