Congregation Sholom
Congregation Sholom will hold a potluck dinner prior to service on Friday, March 31, in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, at 5 p.m. A sign up sheet has been sent to members. The service, conducted by Rabbi Mike Mymon, will begin following the dinner at 6:30 p.m. and will also be available via Zoom. Rabbi Mymon will also lead the hybrid service on Saturday, April 1, in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, and via Zoom at 10 a.m. To receive a Zoom invitation, call or text Jeff Sacks at 714-642-0122.
This week’s Torah portion is Tzav from the book of Leviticus. In Tzav (Command), God tells Moses about the sacrifices offered in the Mishkan (Tabernacle), including a meal offering brought by the high priest, guilt offerings, and offerings of thanks. Moses initiates Aaron and Aaron’s sons for priestly service in the Mishkan.
The Passover Seder, conducted by Rabbi Mymon, will be on April 5 at 5:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. Catering will be by Blueberry Hill. People can choose between a mango chutney brisket, roast chicken, or a vegetarian matzo ball soup for dinner. Gefilte fish, salad, potatoes, dessert, Passover wine. and lemonade will also be seved.
The cost for the dinner is $36 per person for members and $54 for non members. Friends and family are welcome to join.

Hybrid services will be held on Thursday, April 7, in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, and on Zoom at 10 a.m. with Rabbi Mymon.
