Learn about acupuncture in CH 3
SUNSHINE CLUB
Dr. Yeung H. Kwon, doctor of acupuncture and oriental medicine, will be the Sunshine Club’s next speaker on Friday, Feb. 3, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 10 a.m.
Kwon has been practicing for over 28 years and currently practices in the Optum Health Center on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. His speech will be on acupuncture, cupping and herb therapy. He will introduce acupuncture and traditional Eastern medicine and explain how they help restore health and relieve pain.
The Sunshine Club will host four speakers in the month of February, including Kwon. Anesthesiologist Roger Moon, who specializes in interventional pain management, will speak on Feb. 10; Heidi Cortese, daughter of the Leisure World developer Ross Cortese, will speak on Feb. 17; and Delrie Hobbs, open water swimmer, will speak on Feb. 24.
All residents are welcome to join this meeting. The Sunshine Club requires no membership fees, but donations are welcome. Refreshments will be served at the meeting. The Sunshine Club does not discuss politics or religions.
The Sunshine Club began in January 2012 with the mission of “Building Bridges For A Brighter Leisure World.” The club frequently invites guest speakers from Leisure World’s GRF departments so residents could get familiar with each system within the community. For more information, text 562-301-5339.
