Community Church
Community Church’s Missions Team is sponsoring the annual Souper Bowl Sunday event on Sunday, Feb. 12, at the 9:50 a.m. service. People are asked to bring nonperishable food items and drop them in the bin representing their favorite Super Bowl team. Donations may also be dropped off at the church office during the week.
Community Church will continue its look at the prophet Isaiah and the Gospel of Matthew.
The Gospel of Matthew says: “You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”
