Orange County Fire Authority verified a false alarm caused by a fire panel malfunction.

OCFA verified a false alarm caused by a fire panel malfunction.

A pot burned on the stove. There was no or damage in the apartment.

An activated smoke alarm was discarded in a dumpster. There was no smoke or fire, OCTA cleared scene.

Reported coyote had left the scene when Security arrived.

An unknown person attempted to cut a lock. The lock remained secure, no items were taken.

Vehicles collided in the exit gate traffic lanes.

An unknown person struck a vehicle parked in the carport and fled the scene.

A moving vehicle struck a parked vehicle. The owners exchanged information.

A resident complained of person flashing a light into her residence; no person was found at the scene.

A resident held an unauthorized yard sale, Police arrived at the scene and stopped the sale.

An unknown person dumped car engine oil on the street and sidewalk.

Ongoing resident dispute

with one resident verbally abusing another.

Residents were involved in a verbal/physical altercation regarding a dog.

•Dec. 31, 4:35 p.m., Vicinity of Maintenance Yard An unknown person was walking near the e-waste area, not visiting any resident. SBPD called and transported the person to the police station.

Residents were involved in a verbal altercation. The police were called and kept the peace.

•Dec. 31, 11:08 p.m., Mutual 7

A resident and a family member were involved in a verbal altercation. SBPD was called and removed family member from the community.
