Meetings for the Atherton Ward are held at 6500 E. Atherton Street in Long Beach. Sacrament service is held every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. This is followed by Sunday School in the second hour on the first and third Sundays, Relief Society and Elders Quorum meetings on the second and fourth Sundays. Primary classes for children are held every Sunday during the second hour.

The Family History activity will be held on Monday, Jan. 16, at 5 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 1. People are invited to bring family photos, stories, memories and the church will help put the stories and history together on FamilySeach.org for future generations to enjoy.

The reading source for this year is the New Testament. The reading assignment for the week of Jan. 16-22 is John 1.
